FUTURO COMMUNITIES, INC. REGIONAL BUSINESS SERVICE CENTER NOW OPEN
FUTURO's new Regional Business Service Center is now open to the public. Entrepreneurs will be able to create business cards, logos, brochures, flyers and manuals, as well as have access to private workstations, email, internet, free local faxing, technical assistance and referrals.
FUTURO is able to offer these services at no cost through its Rural Housing and Economic Development Program Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). We want to provide start-up businesses with the support services that can lead them to sustainability, so they can ultimately improve the economic outlook of their communities.
The Regional Business Service Center will be open Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is located in the FUTURO office at 100 W. South Street. For further information, please call (830) 278-6817. |

Theresa Notari joined the staff of FUTURO Communities, Inc. today. As the Business Development Specialist/Trainer, Theresa will be responsible not only for the day to day operations of the Regional Business Service Center (RBSC), but she will also be instrumental in meeting all the goals and objectives of the RBSC program. |

As yet, the Regional Business Service Center has been funded, but operations cannot begin until FUTURO hires a Business Development Specialist to oversee the day-to-day operations of the center including training and counseling. That position has been advertised in local papers and expect responses very soon. |
